Granola is one of my favorite things to eat for breakfast. Plain granola is sometimes a bit boring though, so here’s a recipe to spice up a simple food staple
1/2cup granola of choice
1 tbsp of peanut butter (or any nut butter)
1 fruit of choice (I used pear but apple or banana works best)
Milk of choice (I used almond)
Drizzle of honey (or a vegan substitute)
Any other toppings you’d like
First, take the granola and place it in a serving bowl followed by a dash of your favorite milk. I prefer to use almond milk because it adds some sweetness. Next, cut up a fruit of your choice. Bananas or apples taste the best, but I decided to try a ripe pear. Add a tablespoon of any nut butter to the center of the granola, then add your cut up fruit in a flower petal design around the nut butter. You can also add any other toppings like coconut flakes, chocolate chips, tree nuts, etc. Lastly, drizzle on some honey (or a vegan honey substitute) for a finishing touch.
