Barbara Bush, wife of Former President, George H. W. Bush, has passed away at the age of 92. She’s been described as the “Republican Matriarch” and she will be greatly missed by many. She was a woman of the people, and though sometimes critiqued for it, she was outspoken and was often unafraid to show her opinion. She championed literacy in the states as well as many other positive stances while in the White House and beyond. Mrs. Bush recently decided to stop with additional medical care and instead focused on being comfortable and with her family in her final days. It was reported that she spent her last day holding the hands of her husband and around family.
