The Winter Instrumental Concert took place on Friday, December 15th at 7:00pm in the Charter Arts theater. The concert featured the Wind Ensemble and the Percussion Ensemble, instructed by Mr. Wells, and the Orchestra, instructed by Mr. Maher. All the seats were filled, and for good reason! Since the beginning of the year, these three groups had been preparing their concert music. Among the many songs performed, Wind Ensemble performed Catch Me If You Can by John Williams, Percussion Ensemble performed Serenade for the Doll by Claude Debussy, and Orchestra performed Sleeping Beauty (Waltz from the Ballet) by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The concert concluded with the Orchestra playing a festive favorite, Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson. Overall the night offered a packed concert with a lot of amazing playing.
